Qatar Airways is set to expand the number of flights it operates to the United Arab Emirates, adding Sharjah and Dubai's new second airport to its network, reported Dow Jones Newswires.
The Doha-based carrier, which competes on long-haul routes with Dubai's Emirates Airline and Abu Dhabi's Etihad Airways, will operate 14 additional flights to each of Sharjah International and Al Maktoum International from March next year, flying Airbus A320 aircraft. Qatar Airways already flies from Doha to Dubai International and Abu Dhabi International.
